Any resemblance to a boring history class is purely coincidental!

Beckett Graham and Susan Vollenweider: Two women. Half the population. Several thousand years of history. About an hour.
Oh my goodness! I haven’t even listened to the podcast yet and I’m already squealing with excitement! I think I must be the biggest Laura Ingalls Wilder fan on the face of the planet! Thanks for making my day better before it really started!
I love the show. I especially love the short overview then the more rounded discussion.
However, I tried to find you on Twitter, but couldn’t (and I remembered the x)
Also, reading the webpage is a little hard with the newsprint of the edge. If you can move/indent the text to not cover the border it would be a lot easier.
Mgcady – Are you using Safari to read the page? I think we might have a compatibility issue. Any help as to the platform you’re using would be great! 🙂
Mgcady– Thank you! On twitter we are thehistorychix, hope that helps. Also, we want our site to be easy to read,so your comment about the edging issue is REALLY important to us.This sounds trite, but it’s not– we will look into it and THANK you for bringing that to our attention!
I don’t see a problem with the alignment on the page. Everything is perfectly centered. Maybe Mgcady is using a cell phone or other mobile device?
Anyway, I love listening to both! Chicks rock!!
Great episode. I kind of never thought of Laura Ingalls Wilder actually living this life until listening to this one today!
A video of photos I took in Walnut Grove & DeSmet:

Love these! Is that the Surveyor’s house?
Hey Chicks! Have to tell you that I started reading “Farmer Boy” to my nine-year-old son over the weekend and he is absolutely eating it up! Thanks for the suggestion 🙂
“Eating it up?” There sure are a lot of food references, aren’t there? 🙂 I am so, so glad you’re reading this book to him! My 5 year old and I are about halfway through – he loves the story about the naughty sledders and the pig, and wants me to tell it over and over. This is one of the “boy classics”, I think. Thank you so much for listening! – Beckett
great podcasts!
